The Ross Hill is the highest point in Vizag. It is named after a Monsieur Ross, who built a house here in 1864. The house was later converted into a chapel, which was named ‘Our lady of the Sacred Heart’. There is also a mosque and a temple nearby. The hill offers a spectacular view of the ship building yard and the port channel.
Kailashgiri is another vantage point in Vizag from where one can get a magnificent view of the Vizag beach.
