Travel Agent for Mussoorie

The hill station of Mussoorie is one of the most-loved tourist destinations of India. Located in the Himalayan foothills of Uttar Pradesh, it has a number of waterfalls, picnic-spots, temples and tourist bungalows. Book with us for fabulous holiday packages, for as a major travel agent concern for India, we offer you exclusive tour and travel services.

The Mall is the main artery of Mussoorie and is lined with curio and antique shops, a revolving restaurant, various eating joints, metal ware and handicraft items and a number of other such interesting things. It runs right through the small town and is a delightful place for a late night stroll.

The 400 m ascent from the fashionable Mall to the historical Gun Hill is one with bated breath because of the cable car, as much as for the magnificent views of the great Himalayan peaks and bird’s eye view of Mussoorie and its environs. The Gun Hill is now dotted with mock ornate photo studios, welcoming chai (tea) shops and some telescope shops. During peak summer season, cable cars swing between the Mall and Gun Hill more than 100 times a day.

Notable places around Mussoorie are:

The famous Surkhanda Devi Temple is located on a peak at 10,000 feet and demands a steep two-km climb. According to a legend, the temple was built on the site where the head of Lord Shiva’s consort fell, after it was chopped off to stop Shiva’s terrifying dance of death that was shaking the universe to the core.

A trek to Nag Tibba is a tiring but exhilarating experience, for it winds through thick pine forests, mountain brooks and slate-roofed villages. The nearest accommodation is a forest rest house at Deolsari, about five hours of trekking below Nag Tibba.

The Kempty Falls are the biggest attraction of Mussoorie. The highest fall is over 40 feet and splits into five beautiful and distinct cascades.

Chamba-the home of apples lies 31 km from Dhanaulti. It is a delightful place for a quiet relaxing break, with fluffy clouds entering through the widows and floating out of the door.

The small and quiet town of Dhanaulti lies on picturesque pine-clad slopes, with a comfortable Tourist Bungalow and a private hotel that make it an ideal getaway from the tourist filled Mussoorie.

12 km beyond Kempty Falls, lies the Aglar River that reaches the legendary Yamuna River. Trout are in abundance here, and fishing permits can be obtained form the Divisional Forest Officer of Mussoorie.

The latest addition to man-made attractions around Mussoorie is a small, artificial lake, complete with pedal boats.
